bartenders give you a history of the old Bridgeport Inn, located
here on main street since late 1877. A ghost
is rumored to wander about upstairs, so it's
likely a former visitor is still here! The
walls are crowded with photos, flags, plaques and historic artifacts
from all over the world. The bar area extends outdoors to the
front porch facing Bridgeport's Main Street and to the patio lawn.

adjacent parlor is filled with period furnishings, a player piano, a
century-old cranked Victrola, and a one-hundred-fifty year old wood
stove. Records from the 50’s and 60’s play on the antique juke box
as you enjoy the history within our walls. Our newly (2009) established Tourist Information Center offers brochures, recreation guides and other informative publications and displays.
